Transfer credits and Full time study

Hi everyone,

I am currently at university studying 3 classes = 9.0 credit hours.

I have had a transfer credit for one of my subjects I did from university in the UK.

One of my courses isn`t going so well. I have got a D in this course and then an A+ in my other two.

I was hoping to drop this course so it would bring my GPA back up.

My question is: If I drop this course would I be able to use the transfer credit to make my credit hours for the term full time instead of part time?

What effects would doing this have on my study permit/co-op work permit/PGWP.

I think the question I really need to ask is: Will my transfer credit account towards my credits for this term to make me a full time student if I drop my other module?

if you are transferring your credits you are most likely to be a transfer student but it has nothing to do with the co-op or work permit. But i think the UNI will take you as a transfer student. If you have a degree for example BSC degree you will go for masters as a permanent student if u have a transcript you will be a transfer student

I forgot to mention, I am already at uni in Canada.

My dilemma is whether I will stay a full time student if I drop down to 2 courses because I have had credit transfered?

I.e..If I drop down to 2 course = 6.0 credits, would the credit transfer make me back up to 3 courses for the semester which would equal 9.0 credits?
