Transcripts etc

My university has since changed it name and my certificate shows the previous name.
It changed because it merged with another university.

Shall I request a new cetificate hope it will appear with the new name etc.
Also I already have my unversity transcripts as it was required for something else.
It is however open.

Will this cause a problem if opened?

Any suggestions would be great.

Ask your unvesity as to whether the new certificate will bear new name of the unversity. If not get a letter from the unversiy explaining the situation about the meger of unversities.It shouldnot be a big problem .
