Transcript evaluation

Hi all,

Me and my wife has MS degrees from USA. As such, is it required to get our Indian degree (bachelor) evaluated? I am having a very hard time getting my transcript from India. Although I am planning on getting my transcript from India, I want to get my MS degrees evaluated by WES and keep the process moving. The reason I do not want to wait until I get my transcript from India is because we are actually going to India last week of December and want to get our medical check up done after I receive invitation from IRCC. Doing a medical check up in USA is too expensive. Please let me know your experience in evaluating the transcripts. Thanks!

You only need an assessment for your highest degree. (i.e Master's Degree).
If it's too complicated to get documents for Bachelor, then don't include it in evaluation request.

Check the WES website for the document checklist based on degree level and the country where you obtained your degree.

If you are assessing a degree obtained in India, you cannot send the transcripts yourself. You need to have the school send it directly to WES.
These intermediaries would be rendered useless, and are actually part of the reason why WES implemented such measure, as some of them don't actually provide genuine documents.

Priya did you actually read about what WES changed with regard to evaluation of Indian degrees ? Do you suggest such if you do not know what's the current scenario. WES does NOT accept a third party to sent them Indian Degree Certificates here after.
