Tracking PNP August 2012 applications to CIO Nova Scotia

Hello Everyone,

Landing was completed today at the Emerson border, MB. It was about 1hr:30 mins drive from my house, once i got to the Border i drove straight to the US border post and presented my passport / COPR to the officer in charge then i was ask to enter their administration unit where my "US letter of refusal" was issued.**Wont affect any further US visa applications**.

Once i got my "US letter of refusal" i made a U-TURN back to the Canada border where the whole immigration process was completed. No additional document was requested from me at the border except my current CIC work permit which was not return to me.

Was made to sign COPR in-front of the immigration agent then i was formally inform that am now a PR holder. The whole process toke about 30mins.

It been an honor being a member of this wonderful group and to have some people on this forum even for the fact that we haven't seen each other before..

Guys...i got words from local MP.

For my case :

Medical passed, background passed, criminality passed, only security is remaining. He said this will take a while, may be month or two and the last update on my case was March 21st.

Do you guys think, i should apply for my wife's visit visa?

Hello,

As i told you earlier it depends on the urgency you attach to your wife's visit. With the way CIC is currently issuing PPR your own should be on the way. Have you payed the RPRF ? Dont worry yourself about the security screening that is still pending, it normal.

Will ask you to wait but you can as well apply for your wife's visitor visa which will take about 50 days or something like dat.
