Hi everyone, I got my PPR last night. Sending off passport this morning. Hopefully it gets back before May. So relieved, its not over but at least I can see the finish line.

I got an attachment also in which they want me to email the RPRF receipt to a different email address. I already paid RPRF fee online yesterday and send it to normal Ottawa email id. did anyone got the same pdf attachment as well?

Hi Everyone

I need some suggestion.

You can see my timeline. I added my wife as dependent in PNP so got certificate for both of us back in May 2012. Long story short, yesterday i paid my Landing fee and ask Ottawa about the status of my application. I got a reply that "Your file has been transferred to this office in Ottawa for processing. It will be reviewed by one of our officers, with priority given to applications that were received at CIC before November 30, 2011."

At the bottom it has table in it that says if you applied after 1 June 2012, your application will be reviewed after August 31,2013 and it doesn't mean that your application will be finalized by August 31st (I believe this is generic table for everyone).

Now the question is "Should i apply for my wife's visit visa or should i wait for immigration". I am on open work permit and CIC rejected my wife's TRV once but now i've my local MPs letter for my wife (I got it in Oct 2012 but didn't apply for her TRV because i got medical call on October 10th 2012 and i thought i would get PR by Jan or Feb 2013).

Yes, I got the same emails. Does yours ask you to send your passport anywhere? Mine says I'm visa exempt so I don't need to send one. But I'm confused about what I do need to send. Do I just scan my passport and send them my RPRF and that's it?

Hope So! bradders Just got mail he got DM on 16th. 17th was sunday and 18th was my day! hopefully tommorow

So you are telling that BRADDER also got DM fist and waited few days to get the ppr request?
Was wondering about it if this a normal procedure. Don't even have sleep since 18 th. no email. I check every hour.my DM was also made in 18th n nothing after that. Hope for a good news soon. .

Will advice you to wait for at least 1 month before you apply for her Visitor's visa, because with the trend CIC are issuing PPR, your own may be surely around the corner.

Visitor's visa will take about 50 extra days, but i cant see you waiting for 50 more days without receiving your PPR. But the final choose is yours because it depends on the urgency you attach to her visit
