tracking number visa file

i do not have my study visa file tracking number...but i have my file application number S3********** .Is ther any realtion between d two...........like the first 8 digits of the tracking number are the date one applies for visa....then i think its INCDSTU something........i do not know the rest digits....?

That is vfs tracking no, its pointless don't worry about it. Make a GCKey account on cic.gc.ca and link your application online. That way you'll have better tracking of your application.
