TR to PR

Hello,
I applied under TR to PR application. i got married in 2020. I included my husband on file too without the right of permanent Residency . My husband is on refugee work permit since 2019, but no hearing yet. Now ircc asked for his PCC & valid passport through my application. But my husband's passport is expired and seized by refugee board. please advise

Reply that his passport is with IRCC because he has filed for asylum.
