TR to PR question

Hello guys, I was wondering if someone was in the same situation as mine. I applied 1 year ago for the TR to PR pathway and so far, i did nor received the AOR,,some of you guys are in the same situation? Also, i m currently under the interim work permit until June next year, and i would like to apply for the work permit again, should i wait the end of my interim WP? It is not risky to do it now if they refuse me? i d like to have it the soon as possible, is pretty annoying to get the yellow paper each 2 month instead the driver license card ,(its one of the reason).

Read through a sampling of the thread but here is some food-for-thought to get you started--

1. My first thought is have you made sure that your contact information is current with IRCC? If not, use a Webform on IRCC's website to bring them up to date on address, email, etc. Lots of us have linked our accounts already and its possible, given that your application was presumably in Nov 2021, you may be slightly behind the rest of us in processing.
2. Next, have you been able to link your file to your online IRCC account using other exact personal information from your application? If so, then your file has been drawn down from the original application portal and entered into the GCMS system for the start of processing. If you are only now linking your account and see that you have been late responding to requests for documentation or medicals or whatever, or even rejected for not responding by deadlines, you may be able to re-open processing with a Letter of Explanation to IRCC.
3. I you have linked, what does your account status say about your application? In process? If your account says that they have started processing, they are indeed reviewing your file, even though it's been slow. Not everyone has received correspondence with the exact words 'AOR' in it--some have received an email saying processing has started or they have only seen on their account that processing has started.
4. When did you apply & in which TR2PR stream? There are different Temporary Policies in place right now that you might be eligible for, for example, an "OWP under the TR to PR Pathway" but they do not want you to apply for it early (apply no earlier than 4 months before the expiry of your current permit).
