Tourist Visa to Work in Canada?

Dear All,

I am from Mumbai, India. I have recently lost my job and serving my notice period. I am a single mother and want to work and settle in Canada.

I have total experience of 24 years in Administration & Executive Assistant job.

As I have gone through many placement agencies job sites, I have seen plenty of vacancies for the above job there in Canada.

Can I take tourist visa and / or open work permit to try my luck in Canada? As I am already 48 years old I can not apply through PR way.

Please guide and help.

No. To work in Canada, you will almost certainly be required to obtain a Closed work permit, and there is a long procedure for this.
