tourist visa Please help!

Hello!! I am totally confused and don't know what to do.. I need your help please.
I want to apply for tourist visa for my mother to visit me in Canada. she has dominican passport but is right now in the states Miami fl working utill ending august. (she has working permit for usa)

would be better for me to wait untill she is back in the Dominican Republic to apply for her canadian tourist visa? or can I apply online and send passport by currier? I really don't want to wait that long.

Is it true that the Canadian embassy in Miami do not accept tourist visas applications? Because I was thinking to send her to the embassy in the states to apply.

Please give me your insight. Thanks!

I guess I'll just apply online in the dominican Rep embassy as the processing time there is only 9 days. and

You can apply online while she is in the US. Having a work permit in the US makes it easier to get a visit visa to Canada. Once you get passport request she can send her passport to NY or LA for stamping. The whole process takes 3 to 6 weeks.

Can I send the visa application without my mother's employment letter?
Because she is having dificult time trying to get it just waiting waiting

The employment letter is required. Without it her application would be incomplete and probably will be rejected.
