Tourist Visa, Indian Citizen as international student in China

Hi, I am tushar. I am an Indian citizen , currently in china as international student. I want to go to meet my old friend from India who currently residing in Canada. i have china temporary resident permit till July 2020. so can any one help me to how to prepare file for applying Canada tourist visa. what kind of thing needs to remember while preparing file. And what's the chances to get Visa in foe an International student in china.
