Tourist visa for parents from USA, I have PR currently in USA and will be moving in Feb 2021 to Canada

Hi All,

My parents are currently in US with me and their tourist visa expires Jan end. Due to my H1 visa issue we also need to move to Canada .

Can i apply tourist visa for my parents so that i can take them along with me to Canada. I do have PR and will be working for the same client and same employer from Canada.

You can try. They need to show strong ties to their home. Alway easier to apply from home country but they may be successful. They may get 6 months.

If you apply now there is a very good chance they would not have received an answer yet about their TRV. If they have been living with you in the US longterm that will make getting approved much harder since Canada wants to make sure they aren't moving to Canada. Would have a plan B if they get denied or don't get a reply by February.
