Tourist visa - dual intent while spousal sponsorship in process

Hi all,

Anyone here applied for / planning to apply for tourist visa while the spousal application is still in process?

I understand that there is a very low probability for it to be approved, however came across a term dual intent where you declare in your tourist visa application that your PR application is in progress.

Any idea around this process? Highly appreciate any inputs on this.

You can attempt to get a TRV. Yes it would be considered dual intent but it still doesn’t guarantee the TRV.
