How long IRCC is issuing tourist visa for? Is it 6 months or more?

My tourist visa I have renewed 3 or 4 times, they follow the passport expiry so I've gotten visa ranging from 3 years to 10 years.

Very dependent on the profile of the applicant. 6 months to 10 years is the normal range except for visas to enter for emergency purposes like attending a funeral that can be shorter.
