Tourist travel to another country before landing in Canada for PR

Hi,
I'm from India. I got my PR processing completed and planning to land in Canada by end of January 2018. Before landing there for the first time, I am planning to visit another country (Bali, Indonesia) as a tourist. Should I update immigration department about this travel in advance? Can there be any complication with my PR because of this travel?

There will be no effect to your visa in either case. Your choice if you want to update CIC or not

You have PR visa to enter Canada. There is no need to notify anybody. Do as you planned.
