Any idea on how long before you land in Canada once your CC is charged, anyone?

If:

Applied from USA to CIC NOC: 2171

CC charged: Nov 13th 2014

Used to be 100 - 120 days ..

But who knows . . few cases less while many cases take much longer !

Your PR visa will be valid for 1 year from the date of your medical exam. You will have to complete the landing within the validity of the visa. Once you land, you will officially be a PR and will get a PR card. It's validity will be 5 years from landing. You will need to live in Canada for a total of 2 years within the 5 years after landing to be able to renew your PR card. So, in short, you don't need to move permanently to Canada for the first 3 years after landing.
