Total 3594 got invitations in 4 draws - How many of them belong to IT/Software?

A non-scientific survey of people I know who have received ITA includes physicians, skilled tradespeople, (with LMO/LMIA) and an IT (games) person.
There was a great link in one of the other threads: http://www.esdc.gc.ca/eng/jobs/foreign_workers/lmo_statistics/annual-top-occs.shtml It shows statistics on LMO issuance; the statistics end on 2012, but I think the general trend would be the same for every year. All the most popular NOCs aren't high-skilled work; it's kitchen helpers, cooks, truck drivers, etc. I don't think all of those qualify under EE, but anyway, it's clear that there aren't many IT-related LMO's around.Rsamanta said:

Note that any job offer from an employer in Canada must be supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). An employer must go through this process to ensure there is a genuine labour market need before they can hire foreign workers. If you are a candidate who has a job offer supported by an LMIA or a provincial nomination, then you do not need to register with Job Bank.
