Hi my friends
I always like your good advices.I can apply for citizenship in a few months.I took TOEFL before (about a year ago) to go to the university.Right now I am in the second year of the university.I would like to know is that acceptable if I send my TOEFL score for citizenship?if no,why?TOEFL cannot show our ability to speak or listen in english?by the way ,I have my transcript of 1 year of study which shows my ability in language as well.it is really ridiculous if I want to take some other type of exam to show my ability in english. what do you think?

You can submit either your TOEFL results or your High school diploma .Both can be accepted.

I don't think TOEFL is accepted. As much of a pain as it will be, I would take one of the recognized English tests so that you don't create delays or the chance of refusal for your application.

Sorry free,my bad, actually I confused IELTS with TOEFL.Unfortunately TOEFL is not accepted.

Regarding your high school diploma,if the language of instructions for your High School was not English, unfortunately that will be also not accepted.I believe the only option left for you is to take any accepted test of English.

You can take IELTS...pretty much the same level of TOEFL. If you get 100 in ibt toefl, you can easily get 6 in IELTS. Highly advise to take IELTS.

The score needed for citizenship is really way below avarage score for international students so this should be a piece of cake. However, you will have to pay for the test fee and waste one day to go to the test centre.

I have PR.for all PR or students it requires the same score.4 and 4.5 for speaking and listening.I have B2 DELF (french) which satisfies french requirement-it needs B1 for DELF-but i prefer to take TEST in english

I meant the requirement for international student to take university degree here, comparing to what needed for citizenship. Universities requires much higher score than just 4.5. Therefore, it should not be any issues for international student to take IELTS to satisfy CIC.
