To visit flagpole for work permit on Implied Status

Hi Everyone,I was here in Canada on single entry visitor Visa.During my stay I got a job offer from an Employer but in between that my visa got expired. I applied for extension but application got rejected.I applied For Restoration status with LMIA number in the application and its been 3 months and 21 days that I haven’t got result .I am told by my Lawyer that at the moment I am on implied status so I can go at the flagpole to get Work permit.
My question is Can I go at Flagpole for work permit on Implied status as I have filed Restoration or I have to wait for the extension of my Visa.

You do not have implied status. You are out of status in Canada. You only had implied status while you were waiting for your extension. Once the extension was rejected, you lost your status in Canada.

Get a new lawyer. Your current one doesn't know what he's talking about if he told you that you're in implied status after your extension application was rejected.

You have got to remember the CBSA at the border only does the most rudimentary of applications for the IRCC at the border. What you have is not the norm. The CBSA is NOT the IRCC, and people have gotten into the habit (it seems), that they will be able to fix all issues regarding peoples immigration issues at the border, that is NOT their mandate

No - you cannot. Again, you are out of status in Canada. You lost implied status when your visa extension was refused.

If your lawyer is telling you that you have implied status, I would find a new lawyer.
