Dear all ,

Please if you know any info about the refugee claim interview please share with me .

I recently claimed a refugee and submitted all the forms and my passport with my documents has been seized by CIC.
But I have been told by CIC that they will call me for an interview soon !!!

My questions are:

What are the expected questions I will face ?

Do they will inform me that I passed the interview?

What will be happen in case I did not pass the interview ?

Have you filled your PIF, and finished your medical exam.

generally, this interview is information session to let you know your rights and obligations and to get the name of lawyer who will take care of your case, and to submit your PIF in time.

Others are welcomed to correct me if I was wrong.

plz tell little bit more...about yourself so i can understand ur interview...stage...but anyway...from ur question...what i undestand ur interview is at stage where u submit all forms...now ur interview is about assesent about u...r u conventional refugee or not....r u person faceing persecution in ur country if they send u back ur home...also...what kind of ur fear level is..or hardship...or torture u had faced...etc.....in ur country...bla bla..bla...etc...i dont know much about ur case...every person has different hardship level...so what i understand from ur question i try my best...good luck...any way..tell exactly what u have problems in ur home country why u came here...????why u choose canada..???

@ Gogia : I'm conventional refugee who faceing persecution if they send me back to my country , I faced abuse and torture and I got my reports.

I think they call it eligibility interview ???

I did filed my BOC ( Basic Of Claim ) as this repalcing the PIF ( personal Information Form ) ... but I have not did any medical exams yet ..!! when they uesally request the exams ??

ok now i understand ur situation...boss....as u said above...now rules have changed for hearing. ..its fast....it will be done with in 30 to 60 days ur case...if ur case...as u said above...u filled BOC....use to be PIF...if......True...and hearing officer will see ur proof of evidence u provide them...is based on truth...some times they verify it where u come from...from ur official authority...or from canadian coundulate general...they will not tell u...but i think...u will be fine.Hope for the best...just stick to ur BOC...u will be fine.keep posting ur reults...so some here can help u...in future...too...welcome to the forum...any way..Good luck...

which cic office u submit ur case? by the way. ..i think.now a days its one shot game...ur case..is.on fast track lane...( roller coaster )...soon yes or no...if yes u r ready to get on pr track...if no...chances r very slim in.appeal to accept...then...route to pack up ur bag and hit the road..back.to ur home country...

Also I think BOC means Basis of Claim...not basic of claim...!!!!!
