After getting Canadian PR, i never went to Canada to maintain PRO. Now i have less than 2 years before my PR card expires. My wife and kids their PR card expires in less 1-year. Will it be an issue to go to Canada now? What will be possibilities of getting reported and PR card getting revoked.

I am on H1B and will get my visa extended on 3 years increments as my US green card is in process and have approved I-140.

Now i am in double minds - to go or not to go to Canada

Please advise.

.
It's up to the CBSA officer you encounter when trying to enter Canada, if they notice your residency obligation violation and decide to report you and start process to terminate your PR status.
Maybe they will, or maybe they won't. There is no way to tell what will actually happen until you try.

If you do make it back to Canada without being reported, you need to commit to staying inside Canada for 2 straight years without leaving to US or anywhere else for any reason whatsoever. Only after 2 years can you then apply to renew PR card.
