To: F1 or H1B in USA who formalized landing to Canada

Hi,

I am curious. If i got my F1 status by changing status from B2 to F1 or got my H1B status by changing status from F1 to H1B, can I formalize landing to Canada and go back in the US without any problem or being hold by the US immigration?

Does anyone tried doing this?
