Hi If you increase your writing score by 0.5 it will increase your points to 441.
There is no other way for you.As you already have max exp and IELTS score.

Also you can apply for OOPNP (Ontario PNP) by creating your profile after June 2015 and then wait for their invitation to apply.

Hey!
It's probably not the best thread to talk about this but since you mentioned - applying for OPNP IF you submitted your profile after June 2015 - I thought I'd ask: is this THE ONLY criteria to be invited for OPNP or other factors apply too? Such as number of yrs of professional experience, education or other?
I currently have 406 points, my husband is going to take IELTS test this weekend to bump up my CRS score by max of 20 points. I've submitted my EE appl on May 28th, I'm desperate for more points since it's been so long....! If I can get the invitation to apply for OPNP by re-entering the pool I'm withdrawing right now!

Thanks in advance,
Roberta

Once you get 400 CRS and have a profile created after June 1, OOPNP will send you invitation to apply for their PNP program. Then you pay and apply, and they decide whether they will nominate you. There is no guarantee, but no matter they nominate you or not, the fee is non-refundable.

The only two things which can boost your points are:
the very first and possible is your language improvement.
And secong one which is little time taking is to gain higher edu..as you have mentioned that you only have BE which i guess Bachelors and if you could manage get more education like masters, diploma, or year certificate program assuming that you already have 4 years of Bachelor then you score will grow...Good luck
Regards!! :)

Thanks for your thoughts! I've just went through the criteria of Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream for OINP, you have to have at least Bachelor's degree to be invited, which I don't..so I guess I'll just keep on waiting, after all my work permit does not expire until June 2017 ::)

This forum members always forget one way of raising your CRS points, via second language. TEF exam will give you 22 points. While a masters degree takes 1 or 2 years of really expensive full-time studies, learning a second language can be done part-time and you can score some points, if not the maximum, in about 6 months to an year.

In fact, the maximum points of 22 are provided to an above average TEF result, unlike IELTS first language where you need an 8 or 8.5 to get 136 points.

PS: I am an 8.5 in IELTS, and I'm learning French for the last month or so. I've progressed quite fast, for 1 month of part-time investment, because I'm also working full-time in a company and have a 5 year old daughter to manage at home.

Ok I agree with you but I guess language improvement ( i didn't mention specifcally) comes under that factor and I think other person is also most probably aware of this factor of TEF once they go through CRS EE criteria and can improve or take any language test they are willing according them...which is guess is more easy to try English test. But yeah it is very even if you get the lowest in TEF and it can create chances of getting nominated by OINP under French stream category .
Hope for the best...Good luck to all.... :) :)

Well, there are a zillion. I'm planning to write a separate blog that will list approaches and materials to learn French, but please bear with me while that gets made.

Meanwhile, you can start with a book - Easy French Step-by-Step by Myrna Bell Rochester. Once you are bit upto speed, you can use preply.com to find an online tutor, available for as low as $2 per hour! You can write in lang-8.com, while others correct your grammar, and can listen to Youtube videos such as Bookbox French or Peppa Pig in slow motion.

Voilà, et à sept or huit mois, tu peux prendre le examen TEF!

If your OINP invitation is based on FSW then your work experience should be in last 5 years as originally according CIC its 10 years. So be clear if you except it under FSW if you get one from OINP.
1. Register for Express Entry

2. OINP identifies candidates in Express Entry pool

•OINP searches the Express Entry pool and identifies potential candidates who: •Have a minimum score of 400 on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) in CIC’s Express Entry system, and
•Meet the criteria of Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream (see Section 2 for more information).

•If OINP identifies you in the Express Entry pool, you will receive a PT Notification of Interest from Ontario through your MyCIC account. This notification will invite you to apply to OINP for nomination under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.
3. Apply to OINP under the Human Capital Priorities Stream

•After you receive a PT Notification of Interest from Ontario through your MyCIC account, you have 45 days to apply to OINP under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.

•To apply, fill out the Nominee Application Form (see Section 4 for instructions on completing the form) and ensure that you have all the required supporting documents (see Section 3). •All applicants must indicate which federal immigration program they wish to be assessed against: FSWP or CEC.
•OINP will assess your nomination according to the Human Capital Priorities Stream eligibility criteria. Your application will also be assessed to ensure you meet the FSWP or CEC criteria.

4. Accept nomination from Ontario and apply for permanent residency

•If your application is approved by Ontario, you will receive a letter from OINP through your MyCIC account notifying you of your nomination. You have 30 days to accept the nomination from Ontario in the Express Entry system.

•Nomination from Ontario will give you an additional 600 CRS points and you will receive an invitation to apply for permanent residency from CIC.

•Once you receive an invitation to apply from CIC, you have 60 days to apply to CIC for permanent residency.

•During the assessment of applications for permanent residency, CIC reviews applicants for admissibility, including health, security, and criminality checks as per Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. CIC will also verify all information provided by applicants to register for Express Entry.
Who Can Apply to the Ontario Human Capital Priorities Stream

To be a successful applicant under the Human Capital Priorities Stream, you must meet the eligibility criteria for Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)’s Express Entry system and Ontario’s criteria. You will be assessed against both as part of the nomination process.

To qualify under the Human Capital Priorities Stream, you must:
1. Have received a PT Notification of Interest from Ontario through your MyCIC account;
2. Have successfully registered for Express Entry;
3. Score and maintain a minimum of 400 points on the Comprehensive Ranking System;
4. Qualify for either the Federal Skilled Worker Program OR the Canadian Experience Class; AND
5. Indicate interest in immigrating to either Ontario or “All Provinces and Territories” when you register for Express Entry.

TIP

Make note of it

Make note of your Express Entry Profile Number and of your Job Seeker Validation Code (also known as Candidate Identifier Code). You will need them for your application to the Ontario Human Capital Priorities Stream. Both numbers are automatically generated when you successfully register for Express Entry.

Note: You will be asked to indicate which federal program(s) you qualify for on your Ontario Human Capital Priorities Stream application and which one you would like to be assessed against.

Ontario Human Capital Priorities Stream Criteria

A. Education

Have a Canadian Bachelor’s, Master's or PhD degree or an Educational Credential Assessment report produced by a designated organization indicating the foreign education is equivalent.

B. Language

Demonstrate a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or above in all language competencies (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) in either English or French with a test result from a recognized assessment institution. Acceptable tests are: IELTS (General Training Test only), CELPIP (General Test only) or TEF.

TIP

Make it count

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) recommends you take your language tests within the year prior to the application to ensure that your results remain valid after nomination and through application for permanent residency.

Note: the IELTS, CELPIP, or TEF tests need to be taken within 24 months of application submission to ensure the results are valid at the time of permanent residence processing.

C. Funds

Have sufficient funds supported by bank statements that are unencumbered and readily transferable in a convertible currency to cover settlement costs in Ontario.

You are required to demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to support yourself and your dependents in Ontario.

You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you).

Please refer to "Settlement Funds" of the Application Guide for more information.

D. Work Experience

Federal Skilled Worker Program qualified candidates: Have a minimum of one year of continuous and full-time (1,560 hours or more) or an equal amount in part-time paid work experience in a NOC 0, A, or B occupation in the past five years from the date of the PT notification of interest from OINP.

Canadian Experience Class qualified candidates: Have a minimum of one year of cumulative and full-time or an equal amount in part-time paid work experience in a NOC 0, A, or B occupation in Canada in the past three years from the date of the PT notification of interest from OINP. (Canadian work experience must have proper authorization.) Self-employment and work experience gained while you were a full-time student (for example, on a co-op work term) do not count under the Canadian Experience Class.

Note: Any unauthorized periods of work in Canada cannot be considered.

Self-employed individuals

Self-employed individuals must submit satisfactory evidence of the required work experience (e.g., articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income, reference letters from clients, etc.). They must provide documentation from third party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details. Self-declared main duties or affidavits are not sufficient evidence of work experience.

Ties to Ontario

You are required to declare your intention to reside in Ontario. You can provide a statement of intent stating your reasons to settle in Ontario and your ties to Ontario. Please refer to the Application Guide for examples of acceptable ties to Ontario.
