Has anybody applied for TRV in Nov 2015?

I applied on Nov 8 2015. Nothing yet. Is it too early to get any status update?
 
Asking for a status update is pretty pointless - they'll just say your application is still being processed.

Processing can take anywhere from a few days to a few months.

Unfortunately there's really nothing you can do but wait.

1. The Posted processing time for LA is 42 days.
 
I have an F1 visa interview at US consulate Toronto Canada on Dec 15. It just 30 days with thanksgiving holidays. Is there a way to expedite my Canada TRV processing?
Please advise.

No - no way to expedite.

FYI - Canada has already had Thanksgiving.
