Hello all,

My wife applied for her Visitor visa on Nov 2nd online, all she can see is status is open and no updates as of now.

Not sure how long it will take. any suggestions any one?

i apply trv online for my wife india on :19 oct 2015
still show open but its almost 31 days already
and
today we got email from cic email say u r file as updated n login to cic n check your message

so when i open my account there no update nothing last update there from 19 oct
anyone have idea

is dere any way to contact with cic
coz her plan vist canada next week

It happened with me too, but later on no upadtes ,

Is there a way to contact CIC regarding the update, I tried calling CIC Canada and they suggested I send an email to CIC India. with my past experience no one even responds to the emails. I also called CIC high commission New Delhi and the lady just hung up on me telling me to send an email about the issue. Do any one know a proper channel to get a hold off any one in person. please advice. The wait is getting unbearable at least a status update would give us a relieve. Hope the support team responds.

The timeline you are going through is perfectly normal..... you'll have to consider holidays for Remembrance Day/Diwali/weekends. So you will hopefully get a decision by the end of next week.

It's not possible to phone the visa office to ask for status updates. If you do not get a decision by the end of next week then you can send a Case Specific Enquiry to the appropriate visa office. You may get a reply to your CSE within a few days or it could even take 30 days for a reply

Applied for TRV online 29th Oct and still waiting.

My sister applied too via VFS delhi and she got a rejection letter yesterday based on, - Financial status (Showed 5 Lakh Rs), Strong ties in India (She works as office admin and got 2 weeks leave), I thought we have strong chances this time our reason for application was to accompany our sister in law and infant niece to Canada as a help. Don't know if they reject mine as well. Too bad for my sister

We applied different medium so that no 1 officers open up the same file.

We have applied an online application of our infant daughter on 10th nov'15.We are P.R Canada. But we have still not received any response. We are living in Ludhiana. Need to shift to Canada as soon as possible. Please suggest.......

Applied online on 12 Nov 2015 for mother in law.

As of today- open only status shows up and nothing else.
I don't know what is going on?
