Hi Everyone,
I wonder if anyone has started a thread on Timeline for Alberta's Family Stream Category.

Mine are as Follows

Oct, 2008 - Submitted application
Mar, 2009 - Received File number with additional docs needed.
Apr, 2009 - Submitted additional info
Nov, 2009 - Received information that the application will checked by a third party and additional info required.
Dec, 2009 - Submitted further info.
to date - w.a.i.t.i.n.g

'just want to know if the letter your received indicating the file# specify the period when AINP can issue their decision? i'm worried about not hearing from AINP after I submitted the additional docs they needed.
my timeline :
Oct, 2008 - Submitted application
May, 2009 - Received letter indicating File number with additional docs needed.
Jun, 2009 - Submitted additional docs
to date - waiting

You're right!
The first letter I recieved from them indicates the File number and the expected date of result.

Anyways, do you know anybody whose application has been declined?

I haven't heard yet. Likewise, I haven't heard of someone having received their certification from AINP Family Stream as of this moment.

My brother in Edmonton knew of someone who has applied on the same stream as early as July 2008, but still on the "waiting mode" ('just wondering how many certification has been issued sincethe kick-off of Family Stream on June 19, 2008... ).

From your end, anybody you heard of having receive their certification?

Timelines appear quite long for AINP family stream but I do know some people have gotten certificates and have immigrated to Alberta. It's just that other streams have priority over this one right now. Pre assessments are almost taking a year right now. Certificates are being issued on an ongoing basis.

That's understandable..=) AINP could have gotten thousands of application when they opened different streams.
