It seems that there are not many applicants from Ottawa in this forum.
:'( I took the test in early August 2012, but I haven't received any further notice yet. I've been told that it would take 1-3months to get the oath letter. Did anyone get the oath letter recently in Ottawa? Thanks

Hi,

Here is my Timeline with the Ottawa office. I appliued for my citizenship on October 2011 and got the acknowledgement on Nov 9th 2011.
My online status says they started processing my application on April 30th.I called the CIC in June and they said my file was already transfered to Ottawa office in June which is not updated online in my case status.
I dint get any communication on my Citizenship test yet.

I appreciate if anybody can give an update with the same timeframe?

Hi folks, this is how my application is going out of the Ottawa office. I submitted application on may 5 2011 cic Sydney received application on may 11 2011 an sent acknowledgement letter with book discover Canada on may 11 2011, although I did not receive the book an letter until August 4 2011, started processing application on march 11 2012, file transferred to Ottawa office on April 30 2012, letter sent on December 13 2012 to do test on January 15 2012. I hope this helps you Ottawa folks.

How was your test ?? did you get any information,when you ll be getting ur citizenship card ?? you had a family applicatin or it was individual ?? No test yet for me

any advise on test preparation ??

Hi Moti, advise for test prep read the book that was sent to you an also go on google an type in Canadian citizenship test a you will find some sites that give you simulation test, I suggest you practice these test a lot until you are getting the question right, that what I did.

Application sent 6 June 2011
Acknowledgment letter 10 June 2011
RQ received 7 Sept 2012 :'(
Application in process since 7 Sept 2012

Now: waiting ... NO NEWS :-[

Wow Ottawa girl you got RQ that must hurt, your application is going to take longer than the normal when you get RQ, wish you the best of luck tho

Hi i applied mine in Oct.2011 and did my test in Oct. 2012.So far,I haven't received noticed yet for the result.Hoping for the best!
