I've submitted my application to Buffalo office, and received AOR in July 2008. what will be next? i would like to hear about ur experience with this process. Currently am under H1 visa in the US

All immigration offices are waiting for instructions from the Minister concerning all applications received after Feb 27th, 2008. They allegedly should hear something from the Minister by October. So on the meantime, all applications for the Skilled worker stream are on hold and most offices are not even bothering to send out receipt confirmations, unfortunately...


Keep waiting, study your IELTS and star selling all your stuff, I'm in the same boat, but so far I haven't receive my AOR, Buffalo received my application on June 16

Are we assuming that will wait until after the Federal Elections on Oct. 14th? Seems logical - then again, we ARE talking about the CIC minister...

Eric that means that the minister can be gone after the elections ? that can change everything
