Hello!
I am trying to figure out the timeline for most people between passing the online citizenship test and the online oath.

I just received an email asking me to pass the test between March 22 and April 11th,
I'm just worried because I'm currently pregnant and I'm planning to go back to France (where I am from) for a month on July 15th to give birth and be with my family and I wonder what will happen if I'm asked to pass the oath a few days before my flight or while I am away.
Would I be able to reschedule easily?
Do I need to give a reason? Obviously, if I'm abroad I would assume that's sufficient to reschedule but what if I'm asked to pass the oath and destroy my PR a few days before leaving the country? I won't have time to ask for a passport.
What do you guys think?
thanks for your help!

I would recommend writing the test ASAP. If things work out well (Read : If you get lucky), you might get an oath invitation before you travel. You can complete your oath and then make the trip to France.

But if you get your oath invite while you are away, you can reschedule the oath citing this reason, that shouldn't be an issue.

Good luck.

PS: The timelines are very erratic, there are no solid patterns seen for time between test and oath. Varies from person to person and depends on a lot of factors.

Yes that was my original idea, I have a few friends who passed the test in January and February and still haven't heard anything. I'm hoping either I will get the oath before July or after August when I come back.
Thanks for your response, I appreciate any advice!!
