Time to wait after Medical

I have got CSQ on the 23rd of January 2011 at the syrian embassy and lately my file transferred to Bucharest due to the situation in Syria and I have been asked to submit my medical examniation on August 2013 and it was done,my status on the CAS had been changed lately from recieved to inProcess,I would like to know how much I have to wait to get my Visa knowing that the validity of the medical exam will be till August 2014(one year only) is there is a way to fasten it

Hello,
since your file has been transferred to Bucharest, like most of Damascus applicants here, you will be following Bucharest processing delays (12 months). And I guess also that they've sent you in the medical instruction e-mail that you have to wait for 8 months before asking them about the updates. so since you did your medical in August, then you still in the waiting zone until April. But the good news is that they start processing your file, which means that they start your security background check that usually takes around 2 months to complete. So you can relax and enjoy the remaining 2-3 months.

I would say around 3 months seems to be the number for applicants right now

Medicals done on September 6`th 2012 and our passports are in New Delhi , Canadian High Commission since September 20`th 2012 , now its almost 16 months.....E Case status shows In Process. .Received my CAIPS NOTES/GCMS last month and it shows that Back ground check and Security check has not yet started..!!!!!!!! Nice test for evaluating level of patience ....We are mentally prepared for many more years but at last we want our Canadian PR Visas
