Time taken by CIC to stamp the passport

Hello Friends,
Can anyone tell me how much time the CIC takes for stamping:

1. If I submit my passport in Canada (CPC Ottawa).
2. If I submit my passport in New Delhi, India.

I recently got the PPR, now I need to plan a trip to India before I land, my wife is in India and I am in Toronto.
Need the information to plan the tickets.

No fix time duration... In India VFS global takes normally 10-15 days.. I am not sure about Ottawa. For changing visa office you need to send email to CPC which takes 5-10 days more..
