I'm currently in Canada on an IEC work holiday visa due to end at the end of July. Had planned on going home; job ending in 3 weeks, put notice in for leaving house etc. But had a last minute decision to apply for PR. Did my English test last Sat, currently looking at getting my degree converted.
My question is I'm probably going to run out of time, I think I can apply for a bridging visa but it might be cutting it close, will I have to flagpole to activate it?
Would it be worth it to battle to get another job with the last few months of my current visa plus a soon to arrive bridging visa or just go home and apply from outside and arrive with PR and start afresh.
It seems like it's going to be an uphill battle to stay for the summer and continue working.
