Time Required - AINP vs Canadian Experience Class

Hi,

I will be applying for my post-grad work permit soon and subsequently a permanent residence application, and had a question regarding the residency processing time.

The website for AINP processing times says it takes around 25 months to process an application. An application under the Canadian experience class takes 13. As per my understanding, you only need to have a job to apply for the AINP, whereas one year of experience for the Canadian experience class. But if the processing times differ by a year, doesn't that remove the incentive for applying through the AINP?

I wanted to work and stay in Alberta, so I could have my permanent residence in 1 year less compared to the rest of Canada. However, if the processing times remove this incentive, I'd apply for work in other places too.

Would really appreciate some clarity on the issue. Thanks in advance. :)
