Hi,

I am attaching a timeline for people who are interested in january intake. Hope it will help everyone especially the ones who have nt yet applied- pl gv ur views if i'm wrong anywhere

I am applying for a Jan 2011 intake as a regular student from Pakistan.

1. Gave IELTS on 17 July 2010. Scored 7.0 band.

2. Submitted applications online for 4 Canadian Universities on August 20,2010.

3. Certified copies of transcripts were received by universities on August 30 and 31,2010 respectively.

4. I was admitted into all 4 universities on September 9,17, and 21 respectively.

5. Original acceptance letters will be mailed by DHL courier today. I'll receive them by end of September,2010.

6. I'll get my sponsorhip and other docs ready by mid october,2010.

7. I'll apply for a local CHC by the end of October,2010, leaving two months for visa processing.

8. Classes will start from first week of jan for each university.

Getting a call for medicals can take more than a month andd extra time for furthe rprocessing after medicals will be added. It is advisable to apply as soon as possible but apply atleast two months in advance! You don't want to see a situation when you are getting your visa in your hands one week before your classes! Do your homework properly and don't leave everything at the last minute!

Wow Asad!!! you seem to be on track...congrats on your admission to all the 4 colleges...what course have you applied for... i have applied to 3 colleges and right now i have got the offer letter from one college. but how do you track if the colleges have received your application and documents...
