Time line for Acknowledgement letter for Ctizenship

Can some one update the Time line for Acknowledgement letter for Ctizenship after the application for Citizenship is mailed to CIC Sydney.
In my case, the application was about a month ago and so far have not received any acknowledgement letter from CIC and hence do not know about the status of my application

I applied in the beginning of August 2012. E-cas started working after 8 weeks, got letter with book after almost 12 weeks after received date.

You should be able to access e-cas and see your case with your client id (which equals ID No. on your PR Card) in about 8-9 weeks after application.

We're in the same boat, parnit. I've seen a lot of timelines with ~30 days. Thanks for the 8 weeks expectation EasyRider.

Could you please update us? Did you receive ROA? My application was received on December 7, 2012. I have not received ROA yet

I have sent my citizenship application via regular mail on January 31, 2013. How long does it usually take to receive the acknowledgement letter? Are processing times any different than last year?

I am confused regarding Date you become Permanent Resident (Landed Immigrant) and When did you first come to live Canada. I landed on 10th April 2010 and got the Permanent Resident Card on 10th May 2010. So is it 10th April 2010 (When did you first come to live Canada) and 10th May 2010 (Date you become Permanent Resident (Landed Immigrant0)?
