Good afternoon.

I visited Vancouver, Canada for 10 days in August last year for a TV Convention, I loved it so much that I returned and stayed with friends as a visitor from 15 November 2013 - to May 2014 (6 months).

I would like to go back again at the end of July 2014 for another six months, or at least two months if six is not possible, as a visitor. I have the funds to support myself and places to stay. :)

Will this be a problem?

Many thanks

Lucy

It will be at the discretion of the border service officer that deals with you on arrival.

Thanks, so there is no actual law against me coming back for 6 months after only a two and a bit period between that and my last 6 month visit?

Also I don't suppose you have any suggestions on what documentation I should have on me or available for the boarder control?

There's no law against coming back for 6 months. However it's entirely up to the immigration official you encounter when you enter Canada if you are allowed into Canada and for how long. If the immigration official feels you are trying to spend too much time in Canada, he/she can allow you into Canada for only a short visit or even deny you entry (although this doesn't happen often). So you can by all means try to visit for another six months. How long you are actually allowed to visit will be up to the immigration official.

In terms of documentation, you should bring documents that show you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term.
