Time-frame after Providing Police Certificate PR Express Entry

Good afternoon, I have a question and this goes not only to those who were asked for a Police Certificate (PC), but also for the Medical Exam (ME). As many of the people applying for Permanent Residence (PR) under the new Express Entry System, some of us have been asked to provide the PC or the ME. Have you have any news after providing the additional document requested? How long does it take to update your profile? Once provided, how long does it take to get the final decision?

Thanks a lot for your help and hope this Topic helps others that are, as well, waiting to hear from CIC.

Hello!

I'd love for an answer to this question too, since I am waiting on news after submitting my Police Certificate on October. I can, however, tell you that after the medicals were passed it took around a couple of days for my background check to start and a couple of weeks after for them to request the Police Certificate (they don't request it right away). You can see my timeline on my signature and get an idea. I'm a FSW Inland. Hope it helps!

Good luck!

That would depend on how close you are to the average processing time from AoR to PPR (I believe its about 145 days right now). In my case for example, I had to wait for 7 frigging month just to get Police Certificates from Mexico for me and my wife. However, my ECAS turned to Decision Made in less than a week after CPC-Ottawa received them. That was because Mexico PCC was the only document pending on my file for them to make a final decision.
See my timeline for more details.

Hello!

No news yet, but I know that FSW Inland apps have been stalled lately with updates. July applicants are still waiting for their DM so I'm guessing us August applicants will get it after them, maybe January. ECAS is down again so can't even check that.

HOWEVER! I ordered my GCMS notes yesterday since I haven't had movement in my application in over a month (which is not that bad but I'm an impatient person, haha). I'm just curious to see if anything comes up. I'll keep you posted if and when I get them, and see what it says. Hopefully they're good news!
