Hello guys,
I am asking this question for my friend. He applied for PR under CEC and finished his medicals. He got married after his medicals and informed CIC regarding this. Currently he is waiting for his spouse to join him
in canada.His spouse went to VFS and they asked her to apply for VISA and workpermit together. I know visitor visa is usually two weeks but now as she applied for spousal workpermit any idea how
long is the process. I think VFS people told her 3 weeks, but on website there is no mention of spousal workpermit.
Can she withdraw her application and apply for only visitor permit. Application of general workpermit from INDIA usually takes 4 months..
Any Advice will be appreciated
