Hi. Recently attended oath ceremony at Mississauga in March. Ceremony itself will start around 9 -9.30 am depending on how many persons are going to take oath. In our case, there were 114 persons.
Ceremony itself will take one hour or slightly more and by the time you finish and take some pics etc, it will be 11 am before you can leave.
If you are going to take your car there, park at the back of the building because the citizenship ceremony entrance is at the back
All the best.

Yes. After you've taken the oath you will be asked to stand-up row by row. The clerk will call your name and the CJ will hand in your certificate. Then you'll go at the back to sign a document.

Nope, you can't. You need at least 48 hours after you received your certificate to apply for a passport. The clerk will tell this to all the oath takers. :(

Hi. We tried to apply for the passport same afternoon but no luck. Next day also we couldn't apply as our names were not in the system. We went on day after that and application was smooth. I recommend to wait 48 hours before applying. (We could go often because our house is 10 minutes from the passport office )
