The reason is People migrated through ISB has a bad reputation and history than Delhi. You and I can not change the history or the authority's prospective. It is not double standerd its bascally good credit vs. bad credit.
For common people like us.. Patience is the key.

I do not think we can do anything untill people like Tahawwur Rana (Canadian-Pakistani )and David Headley (American-Pakistani Changed his name) keep doing stuff and making normal people's life miserable. They both arrested in Chicago by FBI and brought a bad name to ISB consulate. I think CIC is implementing " Better Safe than Sorry " Policy. You can google the name you will see 100 of news.
I think being born in Pak is curse to some extent.

Remember that police certificates are only one part of the story. They only tell that someone has been caught and convicted of a crime. In countries with corruption there are many people who committed crimes and got away with them... It also only tells of the past, and not about the future, nor what connections or activities people may be involved with.

When the authorities are not sure of a person the CSIS will evaluate them. This can take time, especially when a lot of the information about them is in a country where information is spotty and unreliable. It will be hard to do much about this, because nobody will agree to let suspect applicants in without a CSIS check. And it's not until after the check has been done that they can be sure if the person is dangerous or not, so it has to be done in some cases.

Obviously in a perfect world applications would be processed and given a decision on the same day they are received, and nobody would ever submit false or frivolous applications, but we do not live in a perfect world...

I am not Frusterated but am talking about the Policy Injustice to the Pakistanis by the Ottowa. If talking about that is FRUSTRATION to you then I cannot help this - I have to tlak about that and will for this is my right to speak about any thing unfair to us.

The Pakistanis have nothing to do with Afghanis nor every Pakistani is a Walking Bomb or a Bomb Making Machine nor Pakistan has a more strong record of submitting Falsified documents than India or some far east countries have - any doubt about that ?? then read continuous blogs of this forum for last 1-2 years that are repeatedy talking about that.

Canada's Visa management policy towards Pakistan is a different thing and Canadians are surely not having a filterhouse for some Pakistanis - it's Ottawa's policy to push back Pakistan and bring forward India and for that they have ignored all the historic facts and are just working on a supposed Myth of " Every Pakisatni is a Bomb " and naturally some persons from India trying to promote it even.

I am heading to Canada as you are ; essentially for the Prime Reason of Social Justice. so I hope to keep the blog around this.

I always pray for the success of all of our mates on this Blog.

Hey my point is me and you can not influence the decision taken by Ottawa. If you think they are doing injustice to applicant from PAK embassy, why you are moving here. I will not put it as injustice rather than they need a better system to make process faster.

All my messages had a common theme...that their might be some reason they have taken this step so as an applicant we should keep make our application as intact as possible.

May be they have a lot of application from PAK and less number of people to handle those application...

Sorry if you felt hurt but just 1% people make life difficult for others. If you feel hurt respond back to me I will remove my post but that will neither change the reality nor the process time. While understanding the reason behind this it might give us some patience.

I can understand your pain as most of us irrespective of which country we belong to go through all this but that doesnt mean you pick on a country for your problems. Where do you get this idea that Pakistan is getting pushed at the expense of India??? Do you sit with the policy makers or what????

Sorry for your frustration, but where on Earth do you get the idea that we are favoring India and pushing back Pakistan? While we are aware of your little regional conflict, it is completely irrelevant to us, and as long as the nuclear weapons are not flying we couldn't possibly care less.

If you are going to speak about Canada like this before you are even an immigrant here I can assure you that you will not be welcomed by many here. If you find Canada so bad, I suggest finding another country to emigrate to if you are dissatisfied with Pakistan...

hey hey chill out dudes I m already in lots of tension n this discussion of urs is just frustrating me more I m v optimist guy n as I m planning to migrate to Canada permanently so I would never like to c even 0.001% of bad or risky people coming to Canada as my family is there, they can do it on the sacrifice of more time of mineeeeeeeee n my point is never against any pperticular state or province my point is just regarding me n my life n just a comparison moreover I myself hv served on such post which demands lil more time to investigate .............................. so just chill out everyone if u want to relieve me of some tension then try some positive talk ,......................... I will b oblidged
n yes wt i agreed lil wid hopeful canadian or peacekeeper is that they do hv influence n its not bad at all they earned that influence if we the PAKIS hv guts we shud do better to hv our influence in the world rather then detoriating our image n becoming terrorist or wtever .............................. my msg to all of u is just PEACE ........................
