Hello,I have received a job offer in Canada under the Francophone Mobility Program. My employer refused to let me include my spouse on the work permit and suggested that I sponsor him once I am in Canada. I would like to know if my spouse can apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) to accompany me for the first 15 to 20 days of my stay in Canada.
Is it possible for him to mention this purpose in his visitor visa application and include my job offer as proof, even though my work permit is still in process? or should he simply apply for a normal visitor visa stating that he is visiting Canada?
also my employer has access to my IRCC account, so I am unable to make any changes.
