Hi, guys, I sent my passport to local VO in person on September 18. Haven't got my passport back yet but yesterday I received an update email and found out that my case was "approved". Does that mean that the local VO has finalised the last checking procedure and my passport is ready to be sent back to me? I really need to get my passport back ASAP. So please share ur experience and thoughts on the connection between "approved" and the fact that the final checking procedure is done. Thank you very much!

Thank you so much, anujgupta 84! And I am so happy for you that you've already got your PP!! Beijing VO is much slower. It usually takes 3-4 weeks to get the PP back. But it seems my letter to the VO (politely asking for acceleration) has worked. So now I am gonna write to VAC in Beijing, asking then to send back my PP ASAP, as my status has shown that the Visa Office had already finished their work.anujgupta84 said:
