Hi all,

I am just wondering if people who received ITA just this last Wednesday (19th October 2016) have got the checklist required for us to know what we are to attach to our application because I do not have it. ( I had the impression that they give unique checklist to applicants stating what they need especially from each employer).

Also, I do not see any place to upload the documents I know are required. I will appreciate someone telling me how to find it incase I am missing something. I do not want to mistakenly click on the decline invitation button lol.

Thank you.

Click on "continue application" once you're done filling all the personal details click continue again and you will see all the documents requested.

Cheers ;)

Hello All,

I got an ITA on 19.10.2016. I have a few questions about filling out the post-ITA form.

1)For my EE profile, I had got an ECA for my US Master's degree. I set up my profile with just my Master's degree and got points and finally got an ITA. Now, since I need to mention my undergrad degree in the post-ITA form, is it necessary that I get an ECA for the undergrad degree too? I have already requested for transcripts from my University in India and the will be paying fees for ECA to WES soon. But, would it be a reason for rejection if I did not get an ECA for my Bachelor's degree?

2) Can the WES reference number which is generated for your case be used in the post-ITA form as ECA reference number?

3) What is safer? Getting a PCC from the PSK office or the local police station? I have arranged for a PCC from the local police station and they only need a word to issue it in the way I want it. Does anyone here have a format for a PCC?

4) In the personal history form, I have gaps in the past ten years mainly due to vacation between high school and undergrad and vacation between finishing undergrad and starting work of about 2 months each. What do i mention this under? I was technically not unemployed but neither was I working or studying.

Thanks in Advance,

SR

1. Like you, I do not think it will be a reason for rejection because you need a bachelors before you can get Masters. but if I rememeber correctly, they require you to do WES evaluation for every post secondary education that you will use to claim points so I will advice you to get it.

2. Ask WES. It does not matter which number used, time of processing will remain the same

3. What is PSK?

4. I hope our more experienced members can answer this.

Good luck..

No they don't. An ECA for masters is fine, you just need to submit a copy of the degree certificate as well as a copy of the masters certificate.

1. As per the requirement, in order to get maximum points, if your highest degree is helping you to get it, then you are good to go. In your case Masters is fine. For Bachelors answer 'No' for ECA.

2. Use the same number which is mentioned on your ECA Report and this is the same one which you would have used while creating your Express Entry profile.

3. If you are in India PCC from PSK is quick and better as it does not mention any of your addresses in India.

4. Mention vacation.

For post ITA process and format of PCC issued by PSK refer to this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/ready-reference-steps-to-follow-and-documents-to-arrange-post-ita-t455826.0.html

I got my ITA in last draw and I am ready to submit my PR application but I came across one question and I hoping you guys can help me with it.

When I created my Express Entry profile I said yes for Intend to Work in Canada and gave information about my current job with No to LMIA. I live and work in Canada.

Now I found out that that question is solely for LMIA and I am suppose to say NO to that question. What should I do?

Should I decline the ITA or give a Letter of Explanation?

Hi Stanlee and learned members,

Need your help regarding ECA. I have three education post senior secondary - Engineering Diploma (3 years), AMIE (3 Years - Equivalent to Bacehlors) and MBA (3 Years).

I have got the ECA done from WES. I have got Master's and Engineering Diploma evaluated from them. As I got the transcripts from those two institutes at that point of time. WES has rated my hgighest education and it's equivalnce is Master's degree.

Will there be a problem post ITA? Since, I read that PR application needs information about Masters and Bachelors. Please guide. Shall I get AMIE (Bachelors) also evaluated? As such WES recognises the AMIE (Section A and B Examination).

Please guide.

Thank you,
Pawshi

We are on the same boat. I'm not declining the ITA. I removed my Intended work and will explain in the LOE.

Hi Guys, I also received ITA in the last draw. Now confused regarding two points:

"Proof of Relationship" VS "Family Member Proof of Status" - I am a single applicant. Not married, no child. I will be going alone. I will show my Aunt who is a PR there as my relative in Canada. Now in which section I have to upload which document? Attached photos for reference in the first comment.

Marriage and Visa - I am unmarried now, but before submitting the application which is next 2 months if I get married and I add necessary documents for my spouse, will she also be considered as my dependent on coming as a PR? What will happen if I receive the PR now as an unmarried person and then I get married and want to bring her in, what are the procedures to follow then? Will she also get PR like now?

Hello Guys,

Congrats to everyone here who received there ITA on October 19th, 2016, as I do .

Now while filling the PR application form I could n't find the field where i can upload the relative documents along with the relative forms such as personal details, family details ... etc.

Could anyone here please guide me how I can upload all my docs with PR application ?

Thanx.
