Third country online visa application

Hello guys,
Right now i am in Uk for business visit and been to many other places before .My question is can i submit canada visa online from UK .I have to go there for conference and already got an invitation letter too.Please help me .I am a residence of Nepal and i dont have time to apply canada visa .i will be here till end of this september .Conference is begin in mid of october.PLease let me know ...worried.

Yes, you can apply for a visa from your country of citizenship OR your country of legal residence. Since you are in the UK legally, you can apply for a Canadian visa while you are there.

However, the current processing times for a TRV in the UK is 45 days (and that doesn't include the time for biometrics, so add another week at least); I don't think you have the time to get a visa in any case. It's only 21 days in Nepal.

Thank you so much 21 Goose for your reply .I will be here in UK end of this September for my business conference and meeting .My conference in canada on 13 of october so i decided to apply online visa application from here .I applied yesterday .my lawyer he suggest me to apply online from here and he told me that online visa application is a bit quicker than paper visa application .Is this true?After I submit my online visa application ,can I travel to any other country .I am planning to go some countries in Europe for business purpose?Please help me ,

Nothing stops you from traveling, but at some point this will ask you for the passport if they have approved your visa. You'd need to be able to send them your passport and then be at least a week or ten days with no passport - which means you can't travel around Europe.

I think you should be a bit careful otherwise you can get stranded somewhere with no means of travel.
