Hi,
I'm interested in applying to Wilfrid Laurier's MBA program. Any insights to which option should I opt for?

2) Full-Time with Co-op MBA Option (20 months)

Schedule:
Term 1 – Integrated Core: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Term 2 – Paid work term
Term 3 – Elective courses offered 8:30 a.m. – 9:50 p.m.
Term 4 – Paid work term
Term 5 – Elective courses offered 8:30 a.m. – 9:50 p.m.
I'm 27 years old. I have graduated with a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering degree in May 2010 from American University of Sharjah in UAE and later on had a 6 months work training in a field related to my degree. Later on, due to some inevitable reasons (one of which was my father's insistence to join him and help him in his business) I was driven away from my field. Now, I have a 6 months work experience in technical field and almost 3 years work experience in business field (importing, exporting, retail, wholesale). Therefore, I decided to apply for a course related to my work field rather than my study field because I'm afraid that the VO would reject my visa application if I apply for a program (eg. Master in Electrical Engineering) irrelevant to my work field. so guys, what do you think after all this? Currently, I'm studying for GMAT exam as it's one of the main prerequisites to apply for an MBA program in Canada. One of my friends, currently studying in Canada, offered helping me in getting and acceptance letter from his college (Mohawk college) in a 1-year IBM post graduation program. But I told him to wait. I'm preferring to apply for my study permit under a Master degree program rather than a post graduation program as chances would be higher for acceptance. I'm planning to apply later on for post graduation work permit and PR at final stage. Also, there is a chance to apply for direct PNPs (Provincial Nominee Programs) for Pilot International Masters Graduate Stream and International Student Category's PhD Graduate Stream (for Ontario based universities).
In light all of what have been mentioned above:
1. What are my chances for visa approval and study permit taking in consideration my study field and work field?
2. Would I qualify to apply for a post graduation work permit (minimum of 1 year) if I opt for Co-op MBA Option (20 months)?
3. Should I save my time (As I'm spending my current time and effort in studying for GMAT exam) and ask my friend to help me to get an acceptance letter from his college for IBM program or should I stick to my thoughts and calculations in applying under a Master degree program??
3. Any other suggestions or insights from expert members here to enlighten me?
Your help is really appreciated. At the end, thanks for reading my life story :'(
