Things to do before renouncing Indian citizenship

Hi all,

I have applied for my Canadian citizenship and still have some time before I renounce my Indian citizenship. Before doing that, I would like to know the things which I should be getting done which I would not have the chance to do once I renounce my Indian citizenship.

India does not allow its citizens to hold multiple citizenships, so I think anything you had gained through Indian citizenship would be lost once you acquire Canadian citizenship. If you're referring to OCI, I think you would apply for it after you're lost Indian citizenship, but it's more like permanent residence because you are not allowed to vote, hold public office or to own farm land.

after loosing indian citizenship what about PPF account ,MF and House with housing loan running? do we need to close and sell everything or we can hold it?

No. All activities(except those mentioned by hawk39) are just normal as if you are citizen.
