Hello!
I'm contemplating the process of applying for permanent residency and deciding on the appropriate path. I'm aware of a program in Alberta that requires one to work in the province for a year before being eligible to apply for provincial support. Currently, I reside and work in Ontario, but my employer has a branch in Alberta (Calgary). If I were to request a transfer to the Calgary branch and relocate there, I'm curious whether the location of the branch or the company's registered address matters. Our headquarters are in Ontario, but with a branch in Calgary, would working at the Calgary branch satisfy the program requirements, or are there additional specific conditions related to the company?
