The spelling of my Mother's name in her passport and my passport is different, what should i mention in the family details after receving ITA?

The spelling of my Mother's name in her passport and my passport is different. I received ITA and now I am confused what should i mention in the family details? Her passport is recently issued and have correct spelling of her name whereas mine was renewed 3-4 years back with incorrect spelling of her name.

I know, I can again renew my passport and get her name updated in my passport, but I have some concerns about the same as my wife's passport is near expiry and I will have to get her passport renewed anyway. I don't want immigration officer to have even an iota of suspicion about both of us changing our passports just before submitting the application.

Get "one in same person" affidavit for your mother.
Meanwhile Mention the correct name.

Also no harm getting updated passport and NO it won't raise any suspicion. You are getting the details rectified in your passport and that is the right thing to do.

Will affidavit serves the purpose? I already have it as my mom recently updated her passport where she was asked to submit the same.

Yeah but that will delay the process of PCC issuance as well. As unless i get the new passport I cannot complete the application form.
