Could the CIC be planning ahead here?
I am waiting for test invite from Edmonton. My residence in Alberta is a 2 hour drive from both Calgary and Edmonton. I noticed in the section for the Itinerant Services that there is a tentative scheduled Citizenship Ceremony in Red Deer (where my place of employment is - 2 hour commute round trip) in September.
So, with this in mind...
1. Would CIC purposefully guide my application to have my test taken by then and my oath taken then (providing I pass the test)?
2. Is it assuming too much of the CIC to actually do the above?
3. Would the CIC be aware of this or just process my application as usual and if it falls on that date to take the oath be just coincidental?
It would be nice to take my oath in the same city I work in
