The reason why I think there is not going to be a draw on 7th June. You opinion?

Like a lot of other fellows here, I thought that maintenance announcement on 6th June meant there will be a draw on 7th.

However I just read the following ministerial instructions:

In the end it says:

These Instructions will come into force on June 6, 2017.

Note: All changes will be in place as of June 6, 2017. However, some foreign nationals might not see their Comprehensive Ranking System score change for several days. All scores will be updated before the next round of invitations to apply where the Express Entry system detects that points are changed.

This means that next round will probably not be held until all the CRS scores will be updated. Which will probably take a few days.

I think you're right.

I've already said this on another thread but I'll repeat it here: having a draw on June 7 would be tricky because it goes without saying that the system would take a few days to implement all the June 6 changes.

Let's hope the system is able to update itself by 9th June. If there's no draw on Friday, then June 14 it is.
